As a former athlete and advocate for women’s sports, she uses her business experience to create opportunities for young women athletes to be inspired and understand their own potential. Her mission is to see more women on and off the field: women coaching teams, investing in sports, and leading towards a more equitable future for women. Lessons learned as an athlete contribute significantly to her business successes and shape who she is today. The team work, the culture, the discipline, positive attitude, it all started on her first soccer team.
“I’ve heard so many women I know say if this [the opportunity in professional sports] was around when I was in younger, my life would have been different. I want to make sure as many young girls as possible have the opportunity to see how the landscape of women in sports is changing. I want girls to feel that regardless of their socioeconomic background, they’ve got a chance. I created Section Z to do just that." - Stef Zeh, Founder Section Z
